New Jersey Medicare 2016 Fee Schedule Info

This fee schedule is effective January 1st 2016.
Please note, there are still payment reduction penalties in effect this year related to the EHR and PQRS programs. If you are a Par provider for Medicare they will deduct the appropriate percentage from the payments they issue to you. However, if you are a Non-Par provider YOU must make sure you do not collect more than the appropriately adjusted Limiting Charge based on what penalties you may be subject to.
There are two potential penalties that chiropractors could be subject to. First, is the penalty for not having attested to Meaningful Use of a certified EHR system. The 2016 penalty for this is 2%. The other penalty is if you did not successfully report on the PQRS measures in 2014. The 2016 penalty for this is also 2%.
